ACTDA Canberra Classic March 5 and 6, 2016

Autumn has arrived and with it the ACTDA Canberra Classic.  I have the pleasure of helping many of these talented horses and riders throughout the year, and it is always a joy to watch the dance in the arena.  The majority of these riders are amateur owners who squeeze their riding around their busy lives, and still manage to achieve those amazing moments when the ride just comes together.  Those moments when you feel your horse just soften and float under you, and everything fades except the sensation of joy that comes from a connection with such a graceful dance partner.  Of course, those moments might only last for a second or two, but they are worth the joy. 

Come down to Equestrian Park this Saturday and Sunday and take a few moments to support these athletes.  If you have the time, please offer to help.  Without volunteers, there will be no sport.
